Theatre Club
Having a regular creative outlet in not just part of a well-rounded education - it is essential for a child's emotional health and well-being. To this end, Cologne Academy Theatre Club is an integral part of our educational program and is considered one dimension of the overall product. The theatre arts program provides opportunities for learning experiences that are difficult to duplicate in other school activities.
Theatre brings teamwork and laughter to our Cologne Academy Thespians. It builds social and communication skills, which in turn help build the self-esteem and confidence in our scholars. This confidence shines in our scholars long after the curtain has closed on their production.

Cologne Academy Theatre Club is excited to perform Disney's Descendants: The Musical, a jam-packed musical with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films!
Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

We will offer ticket sales both online and at the door (cash only). We will be offering a limited, reserved seating section (most dates are sold out). Tickets are on sale NOW. If you wish to purchase your tickets ahead of time, please do so on our ticketing platform HERE.
Concessions will be available for purchase. Shout Outs for actors/actresses will also be available to purchase (notes/treats/flowers). The show will run approximately 90 minutes with an Intermission.
Our middle schoolers have been working hard and are ready to put on a great show; we hope to see you there!
